Over the last few weeks I have been carefully considering the totality of my involvement in TREC.
My thoughts considered what I enjoy most beyond competing, time taken up at Affiliated Club level, work as a TD, Organiser and with and on behalf of the International Riders as well as a member of the various TREC groups including the Trustees
I also reflected on impact and effective use of my personal time and considered what in recent times I haven’t done that I also enjoy.
It is therefore with regret that I have to announce that I have retired as the Chair of TREC GB and as a Trustee.
Moving forward I would like to source another horse to compete regularly again at L3, complete projects already started and return to the pleasures of family life and private reading.
Regarding my involvement in TREC I will continue to support WHTG, a group I have been a member of since its inception in 2002, and continue as a committee member to support other members of the committee.
I will continue to enjoy being a TD, Judge, Chef d’Equipe and Chair of the International Riders Working Group and will support and attend related training.
I thank all TREC GB members for their support to the organisation, and as a member I will always continue to support TREC in a positive and friendly way in the years ahead.
