Geoff Bligh

Geoff was the South Wales Rep when TREC GB was first formed. When the Tankey Lake committee was disbanded after the sale of Tankey Lake, Geoff suggested that their ‘emergency’ fund be donated to TREC GB to help TREC Clubs with unexpected difficulties.

Geoff was an early enthusiast of TREC and instrumental in introducing it to South Wales with his connections with Cimla and Tankey Lake. He worked tirelessly with the BHS Cymru SW Region Committee to promote TREC in our region and was also part of the Tankey Lake TREC Committee which held many great TRECs based on the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Many of the founder members of Red Kite TREC Group were introduced to TREC by Geoff and we are indebted to him.

A true ambassador for TREC.
