David is a World TREC Champion, partnered by Brenfield Mairi, a horse he rescued from the knacker’s yard. David is well known as the person who introduced the sport of TREC to Scotland and was the driving force in the early days to help set up all the competitions in Scotland. He is a huge enthusiast for the sport and has introduced so many people to each other through the sport.

David is a fun, sociable, capable and supportive person. His equestrian knowledge and powers are second to none but he remains absolutely humble and true to himself and all around him. A true gent with people and animals.
